We are all born with our own unique destiny, and we cannot help but follow the path that destiny directs. Great powers guide our destiny because we are born from the Heimarmene. Here the archons rule. These Archons follow the laws of planets, which follow their orbits relative to the fixed stars. They bind these forces to humanity through what the Gospel of Pistis Sophia calls: the false spirit.
The false spirit thus keeps us bound to the fate we received at birth. It propels our lives along the path of experiencing everything earthly life has to offer, and we all do what we have to do, this one life, until death brings it to an end. The soul detaches itself from the body and arrives in the etheric realm of the middle, as the book presents it to us. The middle is the realm from which souls incarnate, to return there after a completed life.
Our lives unfold in the order of the left, left of center. This order is bound by the laws of space and time and takes shape in the world of the four elements: fire, earth, air, and water. Fire is the life of the drives, desires, and cravings that seek to rule our soul. Earth is the element where everything takes shape in forms we can perceive with our senses. Water is the substance from which our soul, and therefore our life, is formed. Air is the highest element, the substance in which our thoughts are expressed.
The world we know today is one of collective ideas that we, as humanity, have constructed. These ideas have gained power and developed into archons, and have come to dominate us. The mythical leader of these archons is Adamas the Tyrant. He tyrannizes us by enforcing our adherence to these collective ideas. Therefore, Adamas the Tyrant is the ruler of the "order of the left".
After death, the soul arrives in the center, a realm governed by the Order of Melchizedek. There, the soul is further guided to process all life's experiences, until all ideas have evaporated and all desires are extinguished. Then the soul is virginal again: the soul is transferred to the Virgin of Light, as the myths of the Order of Melchizedek tell us. And so, the soul incarnates again in the order of the left to continue its journey in an endless cycle: the wheel of fate of the Archons. We would now call it: samsara or the wheel of birth and death.
Let us return to the present, to now. The virgin state before our incarnation is something we can return to. There is a place in our hearts that knows eternal peace. If we reconcile ourselves to this, we stand, as it were, in the center, in the order of the high priest Melchizedek. From this deep inner peace, we can then view life in the order of Adamas the Tyrant neutrally. We can draw from it the lesson necessary to know the cause of all suffering.
A deep reverence for life then develops, and a realization that the Father is close to us in the depths of our own hearts. This opens our consciousness to a third order, the "order of the righteous" or just. We perceive this order when we can see the light-being within us face to face. It is the order of Sabaoth, which is sevenfold in revelation. Sabaoth even ascends to the eighth sphere, where he sits on a throne, as does the Redeemer.
These are forgotten myths that try to make it clear to us that all the possibilities for directing our lives toward spiritual humanity are present within us. A bit of pleroma has, as it were, been poured into our souls before we incarnated. Therefore, we can reorient ourselves to life every day. We can return to the beginning of our lives, the neutral center in our hearts. From there, we can learn much about our own lives, for example, how our thinking is bound to collective mental structures. How our desires are bound to a fire that has burned for millions of years, the fire of Yaldabaoth, as the book calls it. How every action is the fulfillment of what the false spirit dictates to us.
In the center, we can plumb the depths of our own hearts. How the Redeemer descended into them, to connect us with the Father, the Unspeakable.
From the center, we can look upward. We see the false spirit, the sphere of fate, and the archons of the aeons. But if we look beyond, the heavens open, and the light from the treasury of light can flow in.
Looking down, we see the fire of desire, Yaldabaoth, which binds us to the spheres of retribution, purification, and deep darkness. Looking beyond, we see the sacred earth, which in its sevenfold state seeks to lead humanity to a wider consciousness. From north to south and from west to east, for the redeemer has connected himself with the heart of the world.
Thus, we connect heaven with earth through pure perception. There is then no longer any need to form a focal point as the ego, as the "I." Higher consciousness takes up no space but resides in the neutral center.
Once we leave the body, the receivers of light await us. They lead us before the Virgin of Light, who seals the light within us. The next incarnation will then be entirely dedicated to the High Mysteries. It is also possible that the Virgin of Light will transmit our soul to Sabaoth. The soul is then received into the order of the Right and beholds the throne of light in the eighth sphere, the treasury of light.
How can we ensure that our lives don't pass by in unconsciousness? How do we return again and again to the neutral center of our heart, from where we can navigate the realms of consciousness that lie beyond thought?
The answer to this question lies within life itself. The answer comes only if our true intention is to fulfill the first commandment: love for creation.
Not a day goes by without life overwhelming us with forgetfulness. Everything is designed to make us forget the purpose of life, from the fires of Yaldabaoth to the archons of the eons under Adamas the Tyrant. From the center, we can learn to perceive this movement ever more clearly. We see the story of our lives , with all the situations and people who play a role in it. We can then discover that we are always in the right place. This realization teaches us to trust life itself and teaches us to forgive others, to forgive ourselves. The darkness will loosen its grip on our souls. The light will grow in strength, making it increasingly easier to reconcile ourselves with the peace that resides in the center.
Quote from Pistis Sophia, a journey through the spaces of the Ineffable: Chapter 62 Sabaoth, the good.
The other Maria stepped forward and said: 'My lord, bear with me and do not be displeased with me. For since the hour when your mother spoke to you about the interpretation of these words, my power troubled me to step forward and likewise say the interpretation of these words.'
Jesus said to her: 'I ask you to say their interpretation.'
Maria said: 'My lord: mercy and truth met; mercy now is the spirit that came upon you when you received baptism from John. Mercy now is God's spirit which has come upon you; it has taken care of the human race, it has come down and met the power of Sabaoth, the Good - which is in you - the one who has preached over the places of truth.
It was further said: righteousness and peace kissed each other. Righteousness now, is the spirit of light that has come upon you and brought the mysteries of the height to give to the human race.
Peace, on the other hand, is the power of Sabaoth, the Good, who is in you, these which have baptised and forgiven the human race. This power has reconciled men to the children of the light.
